Lunchtime Draw: City Hall

Details: See all the details and RSVP over on the Meetup site.

Friday April 23rd at 11:30 am

St, Louis City Hall
Market Street
St. Louis, MO 63103

This week, we're meeting up at City Hall and sketching at City Hall, for JUSTICE or you know for fun if you're so inclined. Roses (as detailed by the picture) may, or may not be included in this sketching experience, but the statue is promising that for sure, this time, he'll show up. :-)
As always, come when you can and go when you must. FOR JUSTICE!

This Meetup thanks to Flammis! Yay!

Michael Anderson shows us a bit of his process(below):

"I joined members of the St. Louis Drawing & Painting Meetup Group last Friday at City Hall for a lunch time drawing session. Rainy weather forced us to go inside to work in our sketchbooks in the Rotunda. It is a grand 4-story open space with Italian marble floors and central stairway. The carved leaves and scrollwork on the stairs reminded me of the engravings on dollar bills. The state flags that hang from the second floor balustrade provide a boost of color."

Thanks for posting the City Hall sketches on this cool blog. I am glad I joined the Meetup group. It is motivating, inspiring and a lot of fun.
